11,500 if it's bad, aka "STH only night."

14,500 if it doesn't happen.

I hope it doesn't happen, I want to watch the Giants game at the Rock. But I'm not going to die to get there.

Actually, I just went on ticketmaster. Uppers are sold out. Singles only in $65. Pairs only in CI $100's, the offset ones, obviously you can get seats. Singles only in the $75's next to the $100's, plenty available in the small $75 sections. The usual compliment of downstairs offsets.

And this is before tomorrow, before anyone knew about the weather. Whoops. Big gate, big no shows.

I go 15,278 and if the weather was halfway decent, maybe more. I don't think they're going to release tickets this morning, it wouldn't make any sense, if they were going to release them, they'd do it Saturday morning.

There are uppers available again on Ticketmaster.

Regardless of the paid attendance I don't think there will be a great crowd. I don't know what the weather is like around Jersey, but here in Newark it snowed last night (probably 2-3 inches). I'm sure the roads will be absolutely fine by game time, since it has stopped snowing, but I'm also sure that will turn a lot of people off.

I just checked on TM and couldn't find any uppers or $65 seats. Regardless, I'm gonna go to the game and try and get a $10 ticket. I doubt there will be much of a walkup crowd if its snowing or raining out. Worst comes to worst, if there are no cheapies available I'm sure I'll find someone trying to dump a single ticket.

Ticketmaster makes me look dumb again. I think from now on, I'll wait for day of game.

Holding a bunch of seats until the morning of a 5PM start on a bad weather day = why the Devils are the Devils when it comes to business.

So, you turn off everyone that thought it was a hard ticket (for cheaper seats) and try to the move the rest into winter weather. I really don't want to see another article blaming the fans.

You have season tix right?

I don't think they are holding back too many upper level seats anymore. as the season goes on more people are buying the $35-$20 seats in advance, including scalpers.
The $65 seats have half priced deals for most games too, so the $75+ seats are mostly what is remaining for sales on TM and at the Box Office.

You can have 20 in 212 if you want 'em.

They're holding back tickets upstairs, and really, everywhere.

I understand holding back some for gameday sales, but not tons and tons of them.

I thought the crowd was a decent size for a crappy day and a 5pm game on a Sunday during football season!

It looks like the sides of the arenas are starting to fill up (the $65/$100 seats behind the goals) and I guess discount codes really help that!

I just wish downstairs had a bigger crowd! But, not a bad crowd like I said!

Now, if we could all learn how to cheer so it's not so quiet and having that library feeling it would be great!!!

I was there because of one of those discount codes! I was in section 106 cheering my little heart out. Kind of funny the little antics of people in the arena. Also noticed that we can't seem to get a decent Go Devils chant going but we can get a really loud Rangers Suck and you can really tell when we BOO people.

I was thinking during those make some noise prompts we should just boo, it would be alot louder than the cheers.

I mispoke. Until they drop them it won't fill unless they can generate enough interest in the arena to warrant the supply demand scenario.

The smart thing to me would have been to have all the seats above the $35 at a lower price then slowy increase prices each year as demand dictates the ticket price. That way they can find thier maximum price they can charge while still filling the building.

Sections 211 through 213 and sections 228 through 230 are priced at $35. The view from 211,212,228,230 is blueline and 212,229 is dead Center Ice. You're really that much higher up than the $65 Balcony rows that they discount to $35. If you're someone that enjoys sitting behind the goal, then this obviously wont matter to you, but since a vast majority of folks prefer to be center ice it may be something you should look into.

You're talking about 50 or 60 feet maximum difference. You'd have to go up there to see it for yourself, and I think once you do you'll agree the view is much better than teh $65s behind the goal. At any rate, there certainly isnt a seat in the entire arena that you cant make out the players numbers from, even in the very last row of the building in the $10 corners.
