BenedictGomez 11-28-2007, 04:25 PM And the lack of Saturday night games is made up for 14 Friday night games. I disagree, especially with the 7pm starting time we now have. It's tough for many people to reach The Rock by 7pm on a workday. STHs know what I'm talking about, as you often see a BIG difference in the people in the seats at 10minute mark than the start of the game, and it's not due to waiting for beer/food lines, it's because they are in traffic, parking, etc.. I think the Devils would be better served by having 8 or 9 games on both Friday and Saturday nights, rather than 14 Fridays and 3 Saturdays. And if you truly believe in the mantra of spending dollars on local businesses in Newark, you'd really have to buy into that opinion. I certainly cant get to Scullys or the Arena Bar at 5pm on a workday, nor can most people. But on Saturday night games you better believe I will have dinner at local restaurants (not to mention a beer or twelve). clubseats 11-28-2007, 04:28 PM Great point.
