Flyers vs Nordiques opening game 1994/1995 (lockout season)

Anyone remember this game? It was Forsberg's debut game in the NHL, and on the first shift Lindros checked Forsberg into the boards so Peter lost his helmet, apparently Lindros said, welcome to the NHL kid!

Forsberg went to the bench a bit dizzy, but later had an assist.

I think Nords won the game 3-1.

No wonder the Forsberg-Lindros thing was big.

Yep! Hextall stopped 24 of 27 for Philadelphia, while Fiset stopped 29 of 30 for Quebec.

Hmm...must have been interesting given the history between those teams up to that point. I know this wasn't the first Quebec-Philadelphia game since the trade for Lindros, but it was the first in which Lindros and Forsberg would meet.

I was at the game, and the only thing I remember about it as that Owen Nolan's game winner was clearly kicked in, and yet it stood even after video review.
