According Tom Gulitti's blog, Fire & Ice (http://njmg.typepad.com/devilsblog/), the Devils will have a Halloween costume contest this evening. There will be 20 pairs of tickets to the soldout Hannah Montana concert as prizes. There were news reports a couple of weeks ago about how much money they are worth.

Gulitti also reports that "any student who wears a Halloween costume Wednesday night will be admitted to the game for only $10." I would assume that those are not the 200 $10 seats that the club makes available an hour and a half before the game.

Tampa coming off a loss and only scoring one goal against the Rangers means another game I'm not to sure this current Devils team will win tonight. They just look lost and confused with very little confidence. Look for Vinny and Marty to throw pucks from all over the place, especially the side of the net as they did in the playoffs.

Upper Level is 100% sold out (not even singles), and lower level looks like it's getting closer to selling out, but there is good availability in Mezzanine.

Even though it's Halloween I think there is a good chance it will be sold out or a big crowd will show up becuase all the people who could not get tickets for opening night will be comming today. I hope when I go tonight I come home after seeing the first Devils win at the rock.

His foot speed isn't awful for his size, but he's still slow. He doesn't play an overly physical game so no, he doesn't take himself out of position for big hits. He's a solid positional guy with a long reach.

Malmivaara sure brings some physical presence to the table. He also has a huge cannon to unleash from the point.

Olli´s weak spot is that he isn´t too fast like many other big guys and might get caught on one-on-one situations. But that´s nothing new to us so far.

Still, it´s exciting to see, if he gets his cup of coffee tonight.

Tampa always will be a pain in the ass. Hopefully something can give these guys a fire burning in them. Hell, just playing in this beautiful new arena better get their ***** fired up tonight. I hope Marty gives us a good show.

Ha, he seems to do it all the time.. Usually in the 3rd when theres a faceoff in our end and the other team is on the PP..

Penalties against those guys will come back to bite you sooner or later.

A really good 2:nd period by the Devils was ruined by the penalties. Now Tampa has life and those guys they have over there have made a living out of coming after teams in third periods.

Between the three of them in 11 games they have 12 goals between them......who woulda thunk it. I'd love to play on TSN every game, Madden and Pando will be in a dead heat for the Richard hahaha
