Did anyone take NJ Transit trains to the Broad Street Station on Saturday?
How was the the whole experience with the free shuttle bus to The Rock there and back? Lots of other fans? Was there security at the station while waiting for the train ride back West?

My dad (who is 74) and a friend took the train from Dover to Broad Street Station. He said it was fun because at every stop, more and more fans wearing Devils shirts got on board. Shuttle (free) from the train station ran right to the arena and back postgame and he had no hassle at all.

Hop on the train for Penn Station in Newark! And walk 2 blocks to the arena.

Penn Station NY to Penn Station Newark is simple. Just take the PATH. The entrance is a block east of MSG, right under Manhattan Mall in the subway station there. Its $1.50 each way.
You take the Journal Square train, then switch at Journal Square to the Newark train. Takes maybe, 30 min? Depends how long you have to wait at Journal Square, usually not too long.

Try to avoid the PATH from midtown if you can. It's a long ride to Newark and it takes many stops and requires a transfer in Jersey City. Just take NJT's NEC or NJCL line to Penn Station Newark. Those trains are highlighted in blue or red and go to Trenton, Long Branch, etc. Now if you're further down 6th Ave or by the World Trade Center site, then PATH is the only option.

Either one works, though I'd say the PATH from NY Penn takes more like 45 minutes. The better route depends on which you value more - time or money. Since I'm a poor med student, I take the PATH.

I don't know why, but I was LMAO after reading this.
Maybe it's because it was 1:30am, or maybe I just had an image of a sad, confused Rags fan standing alone in a dark, empty parking lot...
