Mike Johnson from the Blues was placed on waivers & we didn't pick him up? WTF?
Lousy job by us missing that pick-up! :thumbd:

How Did We Miss This Opportunity? The Mad Crapper 10-29-2007, 07:53 AM Mike Johnson from the Blues was placed on waivers & we didn't pick him up? WTF? Lousy job by us missing that pick-up! :thumbd: DevilsFan38 10-29-2007, 08:00 AM Right, because a 3rd/4th line winger is CLEARLY what this team needs to get it turned around. It's obvious that a lack of forwards that can't score is this teams' problem :shakehead Terrible idea, I can't believe I bothered responding to it. This guy is well liked; by both players & fans, plays with heart & IMO...a better player than Pelley or Rupp. Devilswede 10-29-2007, 08:43 AM And how in earth would a Mike Johnson be able to help this team!? Who cares if he's well liked, he isn't any good. I'd have Rod Pelley over him any day! Thanks, but no thanks! This team is already filled with 4:th liners and other teams' healthy scratches. Brookbank couldn't even crack the Columbus lineup (who btw are doing really well) but over here he's one of our better d-men right now. That says it all. IS so liked he was signed after the season started. JRZ DVLS 10-29-2007, 12:07 PM Like this whole forum's basis, that's your opinion. Rupp was digging in the corners real well, while Asham was strong on the boards. Every time they were on the ice i noticed them hustling. Randal Graves 10-29-2007, 12:13 PM Damn, if we only would have claimed him... that would have solved everything. Yeah - then he could be sitting to the right of Zubrus contemplating what went wrong... http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/sp/getty/4f/fullj.getty-76074415bb015_ottawa_senato.jpg Randal Graves 10-29-2007, 12:56 PM That can't be a real picture. I would expect Gio's legs would be dangling from that bench like a baby in a car seat :) MoonDragn 10-29-2007, 12:57 PM I actually thought That Rupp/Pelley/Asham was probably our best line on Saturday. The guy is just amazing, he is really trying hard right now. I think Sutter really sold on him. If he keeps up this effort then he deserves to have alot of ice time.
