Due to the perfect location of this bar/resto, I'm guessing it will become one of the top 2 or 3 hangouts for Devils fans. Please feel free to post your GAMETIME reviews of the place in terms of the quality of food, prices, overall gametime atmosphere, etc.... My experience below:

I had to leave after being seated. Got to Scully's at about 5:15. They told us it would be a 30 minute wait for a table. It was in fact exactly that long a wait, so no big deal. But it took another 15 to 20 minutes for a waitress to even show up at said table. We just left, we didnt want to risk missing the atmosphere of the 1st game given how long it took to even get a waitress we figured the food would also take forever to arrive. This place is really going to have to add staff, because it was clear they werent remotely prepared for anything like yesterday's crush. I paid $5 for a pint of Stella, which I thought was pretty decent since Stella is usually a touch more expensive. Also, the food prices seemed very reasonable and the atmosphere was FANtastic, with virtually everyone there having a Devils jersey on. It was nice to watch college football while waiting for the game too.

Service was also a little slow at Arena Bar. I figured it would be considering this is the first week that they will actually have the big crowds. It will probably take a few weeks before they really get everyone up to speed, but Newark seems like it is going to be a great place to hang out before and after games.

I got a table around 4pm, service and food was good. prices were reasonable. It began to get crowded as we were leaving. Devils fans made up about 95% of the patrons. Definately a good choice for us fans. they even have a parking lot right next door, they charged $20 to park for the game.
