OT: Coming down for the game tonight

Hey Folks

I'm a Sens fan ... don't hit me! hahaha... coming down for the game tonight.

I'm staying at the Sheraton in East Rutherford

I checked and it's about 16 min to Newark.

My question is : how long should I give myself to get to the arena? I know there is Transit and stuff, but I'd prefer to drive depending on how safe the transit is and so on.

If someone can provide me some tips and ideas, that would be great.

The fan fest is from 4 to 7 if you want to check it out, the cup will be on display as well.

Y on earth is the cup there. I dont want it anywere near the arena expect in june :)

Sens fans are very cool and very nice to watch hockey games with.

I remember back in 2003 the fans then were nice to party with and watch games with.... and most recently last season it was a great time with you guys too... :D

have a safe trip.
that sheraton is not far from the arena.

if you drive, take Passiac Ave to 21. or you can take 21 to broad street or to the arena. Either way Rt. 21 will get you to the arena.

or drive to the secaucas train station and take the train to Newark Penn station.

You can't park at Secaucus. No garage or lot, just a drop off area. He could take a cab there.

I agree. Reminds me of when the Rangers brought it in for the Messier ceremony.

Gotta love it, we build a train transfer station in the middle of the swamp, even
add a turnpike exit... and then don't build a parking lot. Only in Jersey.

BUT, OF COURSE, when Giants Stadium II is completed and they build some kind of
light rail hookup, you KNOW that parking lot is going to get built.
