The Devils have won all banner raising nights, and both retriement nights. They always win games that they MUST win to avoid embarassment. I think the trend will continue today.

Today should be a day of positives only. I envy you guys that will be there tonight. I get my first chance on Friday against Toronto.

Congratulations to the Devils organization on their beautiful new building and good luck.

I expect an excellent effort from the team and that's all I can ask for, 60 minutes.

Let's hope this arena becomes our new good luck charm and a tough place for opponents to play in.

A Class A Minor League team that plays in Lakewood, NJ, one of the best drawing minor league baseball teams in the country. Always a good time, except the fact that its the Phillies affiliate, yech.

I think it just makes sense to have your top minor league affiliate within a hour or 1.5 hour drive in case of injuries etc... It has bailed the Floppers out several times.

Actually we won the first 6 of 7 games that year. That was my last home game. The way the season ended has erased any positivity from my mind as well.

Well the Sens swarmed like hornets in that period but we held strong and got a flukey goal. Zajac is getting better and better every game, I'm really happy with him. I'm ready for a Parise goal now.

I think the key is that he isn't trying to do too much so he's been in position for much of the night. Even when he gets the puck at the point he isn't trying to force anything.

Yes the sound was pretty great, but too low. Actually I thought it was a bad connection time lowing the stream's volume, but then I noticed the horn was really low, and for sure that will be corrected.

It was knocked away from him by the Sens player however he has to get a better grip on it. Him losing the sticks and trying to pick it up led to the breakdown.

I have never seen an "NHL" player drop his stick and/or fall over as much as Oudya. And yes, there is a reason I put the "NHL" in quotes.

are you kidding? we played alot better against the senators at our FIRST home game than against them in ottawa. we are getting ****ed hard by the refs and im sure sutter will say something after teh game

The building looks beautiful, to bad the team is ugly. At least for once we can't blame this on the defense that played good. However, as a longtime Devils fan I can't remember ever waiting for something bad to happen as I do with this team.

I hate to say it, but we're just not a very good. And to try and be even handed, I'm going to give Elias a break who played decent as well as Zubrus. So, let's pick on Parise, Zajac and even Clarkson who is a bit of a disappointment. In my mind I'm already thinking Stamkos or Doughty, Doughty or Stamkos, tonight it's Stamkos.
