Spankatola Jamnuts 01-11-2004, 09:54 PM He's skating. Last we heard he's due back late this month (as of friday). Saprykin Fan 01-27-2004, 10:13 PM how far away is he now, hes gotta be pretty close, any help would be great!!! Spankatola Jamnuts 01-27-2004, 10:21 PM Any day now. He's skating full practices and participating in full contact drills. He says his balance needs work. It may not be until after the AS break in order to play it safe. soya_sauce_chicken 01-27-2004, 10:41 PM i'd play him next month.. let him get stronger.. fez 01-28-2004, 12:27 AM So who gets moved around? Im guessin the Jerky, Nieds and Ruuch line will be reunited, so what happens? who gets moved? what will the lines look like? soya_sauce_chicken 01-28-2004, 12:31 AM who knows what the dam lines are going to be. Babcock keeps switching them around like he is changing underware. there is no chemistry yet on one line. you got Chistov playing with Mac, Fed, Sykora, Phallson, Lupul, etc... next thing, we'll se vish pulled from d to be a right winger... Randall Graves* 01-28-2004, 12:35 AM I'm not so sure,Lupul has played well with Prospal,Sykora likewise with Rooch and Nieds...perhaps... Prospal-Fedorov-Lupul Nieds-Rooch-Sykora Leclerc-Pahlsson-McDonald Chistov-Kunitz-Severson I'm sure they'd be shuffled and i'm sure you'll see Leclerc with him,we need this guy because he does do the dirty work in front. Jerky Leclerc 01-28-2004, 12:36 AM I'm just befuddle at the fact that Dany Heatley can tear both his ACL and come back earlier than Leclerc who had surgury 7 months ago. Randall Graves* 01-28-2004, 12:44 AM Perhaps because Leclerc was playing on it for a few months? I'm not sure that is strange though. Plus it's like his millionth injury. Maybe his platelets are on strike or something. lux_interior 01-28-2004, 06:49 AM I'm just befuddle at the fact that Dany Heatley can tear both his ACL and come back earlier than Leclerc who had surgury 7 months ago. Could have to do with what they used to make the new ligament. Some possibilities are the hamstring, the patella tendon, or an ACL from a cadaver. Each has varying recovery times. Could have to do with the severity of the tear, or complications with the surgery on Leclerc. Also pre-surgery conditioning is key. Don't know the relative condition between Heatley and Leclerc, but it could be a factor. Just some thoughts. Hockeycrazed07 01-28-2004, 07:22 AM Heater is also a few weeks early. He's been working out 7 days per week since 3 days after surgery. The guy is a maniac. ~Crazed. Hank 01-28-2004, 07:29 AM Could have to do with what they used to make the new ligament. Completely different injuries. lux_interior 01-28-2004, 08:32 AM Leclerc didn't have problems with ligament, his was the cartilage in the knee. Completely different injuries. Okay, I was thinking his was an ACL tear. I'm pretty sure cartilage takes longer to heal than an ACL repair. | ||
