OT: Something funny in NHL 08

Hey Guys.

I just thought that this was funny. We all know Marty takes about 4 games for rest during the season so I benched him for one game about two months into the season and he demanded a trade...:cry:

:biglaugh: same thing happened to me in 07, got a message saying clemmensen was demanding a trade so i played clemmensen... after the game i have another message saying brodeur is demanding a trade!

I never rest him. I just pretend not to see the "Z's"...he.s a stronger person for it:yo:

LOL. I know its a different sport but I just started playing Madden's Superstar mode and after my first year of being with the Colts and simulating the whole season because all they do is pass (and I'm a HB) I demanded a trade, and no questions asked got traded to the Vikings. Just chose to my agent "I demand a trade" and I get "you've been traded to the Vikings." I thought it was funny.

Brodeur won the Conn Smythe in 08 for me yesterday lol, f u Giguere! I played the Wild too, kid of weird coincidence..

I'm convinced that in 07 it was impossible to keep any sort of backup goaltender happy. Grahame would not leave me alone until I traded him for Tim Thomas and then like two months Thomas was po'ed too :rant:

In 07, before 08 came out and after gomez left the team, I put Gomez in the minors and then traded him after 2 months in the minors!! haha traded him to the wild I think.

I had MA-Fleury ask me for a trade, so I sent him to Atlanta for Kari Lehtonen and then the next game I flipped Lehtonen back to Atlanta for Fleury and he was happy again, lolz.

I am convinced the game cheats if it's down in the last minute. It's like impossible to get out of your own zone without icing it and they almost always score on their shots when they pull the goalie.
