Ryan Getzlaf point prediction

I've seen Getzlaf pegged as low as 60 points and as high as 90 for this season... was wondering what Duck fans think is the most realistic number to expect from him.

90 is way too much...

30 + 40 seems like a good season for him

That would be great, but honestly if we are seeing enough production from our other forwards, 25 goals and 40-45 assists would be solid. He's still young and no where near his peak, give him a year or two and those 90+ point predictions will come true.

If he plays with a healthy Bert and gets 1st line minutes + 1st PP minutes, I see him in the 80-90 range, at worst I see him in the 65-70.

I would say at most 30 goals and 30 assists maybe more goals so 60 points

Meh, what's the point in predicting if everyone is just picking the safe bet? :)

No one wants to jump out and do a 20 goals, 25 assists, 45 points!

50 goals, 65 assists, 115 points!

60-80 points sounds reasonable, though. 30-35 goals with as many assists as his line mates can help him with. I don't see Getz getting 40+ goals this year, and depending on who he is with, I don't see him putting up 40+ assists.

and as a high

31-54-85

if you average those out your low 70's which is where I think he'll be...the last season in which he doesn't post a point a game...

sometimes/somewhere goals are given 2 points to weigh more than the multiple people who can pick up (sometimes) easier assists

I'm not sure, but I think that was reference to a Wade Belak interview where he was talking about how he's tired of being a tough guys and wants to be a scorer now. He said his goal was 30 goals and 40 assists for 100 points.
