how has he looked in camp? which linemetes are they playing him with?

He's been looking real good. The game I went to, he played with Mac and Kunitz.

Playing with Getzlaf and Perry tonight.

Creating a lot of scoring chances so far.

I have hated Bertuzzi for many years but it has only taken a few games for me to cheer for him. He is looking good out there and if he can stay healthy will be a great asset to the ducks this season.

However I was not happy to see him with an "A" on his chest in last nights game.

I think that we should have A's on Prongs, Bertuzzi, and May :yo:

He has looked real good. Great positioning, great forechecking, real good hands.

He hasn't got his finish yet, but I don't know anyone that has on the Ducks. Had a decent amount of opportunities that he didn't put in the back of the net. Hopefully that will come.

But also got an assist on last nights Sharks goal. Checked the player into the puck which went into the net.

You know I've been saying this from day one! He's going to have a great season with the Ducks, I will put money on it!

I think he will end up with 25 goals, 40 assets this year. I one Duck I'm going to really watch this year is Corey Perry. I think his line and linemates were asked to put up most of the goals for this year, so his line is really going to be a lot of fun to watch. I really do think he's going to have a All-star year.

Bert looks good. However, I would play him on the line with Perry & Getz. He seems out of sync with Kunny & Andy. They need speed. Andy looks great. He is all over the ice and is hustling all the time. However he needs a finisher on that line.

All the lines seem out of sync and they have only 2 more games to right themselves before going to LONDON. The defense looks solid and is very deep.

If he stays healthy. If he plays 75+ games, I completely agree with you. Especially if he finds any kind of chemistry with Mac and Kunie. But if he gets hurt again, it could be a totally different story.

I think he has played better with Mac and Kunitz then he has with Getz and Perry but part of that may be that he normally plays RW and with Getz and Perry he is playing LW.

I'd say.. you'll be looking forward to somewhere around 50a, under 25goals and probably team low in +/-.

I know this because if he wasn't 100% then Bruke would have not gone after him in the off season. He looks great out there but still needs to find linemates, after he finds them WATCH OUT!!! He's going to put up the number's believe me! He's going to a monster year. He looks happy to be here in Anaheim playing under a GM that he trusts.

I realize what he's done the last 5 years hence why I said 80 points is not out of the question. 60-70 points is a more realistic projection, but there's no reason he can't reach 80 if healthy all season and playing alongside a player like Getzlaf.

first post with you all... bert looked solid to me in training camp as well as the game i went to(VAN) and he seems to be getting compared to penner a lot these days i.e. money, play,size,etc... i think he is penner on roids. he was physical,skated well, and i was most inpressed with his hands and vision out there. i think he had like 2 assists and a goal that game. hopefully healthy and playing with getz and perry you thought it was hard to tell the difference from our top 2 lines last year...wait for this year

I have a good feeling about Bertuzzi if he stays healthy, his style just meshes perfectly with Getzlaf, those two are so good that if Bobby Ryan does play with them he will have guys on the same talent level where he can just focus on creating plays, whereas if he played on the 4th line he doesn't have guys with good enough skill to do that with.

That's a good story! He's going to be great with the Ducks. I just know it. He's going to have a 200 point season this year :D

berts comments remind me a lot like teemu's comments at the start of last season and look what he did. i give credit to our management (burke) for taking these guys that are being crippeled by the media and putting a stop to it so they can just play hockey. take the off ice element away from these guys and they will go to war for you.
