BertuzziOleOleOleOleBureBure 09-19-2007, 11:09 PM how has he looked in camp? which linemetes are they playing him with? jax00 09-19-2007, 11:12 PM He's been looking real good. The game I went to, he played with Mac and Kunitz. McDonald19 09-19-2007, 11:25 PM Playing with Getzlaf and Perry tonight. Creating a lot of scoring chances so far. Ducks 09-19-2007, 11:39 PM I think everyone has been pretty impressed with him so far.:handclap: Zymergist 09-20-2007, 11:04 AM I have hated Bertuzzi for many years but it has only taken a few games for me to cheer for him. He is looking good out there and if he can stay healthy will be a great asset to the ducks this season. However I was not happy to see him with an "A" on his chest in last nights game. Ducks 09-20-2007, 11:44 AM I think that we should have A's on Prongs, Bertuzzi, and May :yo: It's like the axis of evil lol SonOfBraincramp 09-20-2007, 11:45 AM He has looked real good. Great positioning, great forechecking, real good hands. He hasn't got his finish yet, but I don't know anyone that has on the Ducks. Had a decent amount of opportunities that he didn't put in the back of the net. Hopefully that will come. But also got an assist on last nights Sharks goal. Checked the player into the puck which went into the net. treybrown 09-20-2007, 05:08 PM You know I've been saying this from day one! He's going to have a great season with the Ducks, I will put money on it! I think he will end up with 25 goals, 40 assets this year. I one Duck I'm going to really watch this year is Corey Perry. I think his line and linemates were asked to put up most of the goals for this year, so his line is really going to be a lot of fun to watch. I really do think he's going to have a All-star year. Talentless Practise 09-20-2007, 08:54 PM better hope he looks good for that much $$$$$. Is 4 mil a lot of money these days when guys like Hartnell and Penner are making more? cljbice 09-20-2007, 09:10 PM alot of money for 3 4 games then the back goes Spankatola Jamnuts 09-20-2007, 09:12 PM It's so great that we have players like Pronger and Bertuzzi that have hate clubs. Our quota of retarded posts was running dangerously low before they came here. cljbice 09-20-2007, 09:24 PM i`m a ducks fan but bertuzzi is a back picking.never mind i just won`t turn my back to him .he should be band from nhl for his actions i`m ashamed to be a ducks fan with him on the team Spankatola Jamnuts 09-20-2007, 09:25 PM Your write. Hate him all you like but back picking goes too far and will probably get you band from the bords. Duck Fan 09-20-2007, 11:49 PM Bert looks good. However, I would play him on the line with Perry & Getz. He seems out of sync with Kunny & Andy. They need speed. Andy looks great. He is all over the ice and is hustling all the time. However he needs a finisher on that line. I have been at the games and it appears to me that they are really missing Teemu more than Scotty. The team lacks offense. They need a speed player who can finish on Andy's line. All the lines seem out of sync and they have only 2 more games to right themselves before going to LONDON. The defense looks solid and is very deep. I am impressed with Kondratiev. He look like a nice replacement for Schneider on the PP. He made a couple of mistakes last night but looks good otherwise. On one play he slipped and allowed a slight breakaway that could have resulted in a goal. Duckstudd269 09-21-2007, 12:59 AM Bert looks good. However, I would play him on the line with Perry & Getz. Everyone else seems to think Bertuzzi has played much better with Andymac and Kunie rather then Getzlaf and Perry. I thought Bert would be there, but who knows at this point. theShiba 09-21-2007, 02:43 AM Your write. He should be band. Pre-season Dude, thats doesn't mean anything to me! treybrown 09-21-2007, 02:08 PM I will say it again! Bertuzzi 25 goals- 40 assets He's going to have a comeback season and he will have 6 points in london! WATCH!! TheJoeMan 09-21-2007, 02:27 PM I will say it again! Bertuzzi 25 goals- 40 assets He's going to have a comeback season and he will have 6 points in london! WATCH!! If he stays healthy. If he plays 75+ games, I completely agree with you. Especially if he finds any kind of chemistry with Mac and Kunie. But if he gets hurt again, it could be a totally different story. treybrown 09-21-2007, 02:38 PM [QUOTE=TheJoeMan;10487303]If he stays healthy. If he plays 75+ games, I completely agree with you. I thought Bert would be there, but who knows at this point. I think he has played better with Mac and Kunitz then he has with Getz and Perry but part of that may be that he normally plays RW and with Getz and Perry he is playing LW. PuckMunchkin 09-21-2007, 03:43 PM I will say it again! Bertuzzi 25 goals- 40 assets He's going to have a comeback season and he will have 6 points in london! WATCH!! I don't know why his assist totals would drop from his last full Canuck season now when he is playing with offensively better Ducks team. I'd say.. you'll be looking forward to somewhere around 50a, under 25goals and probably team low in +/-. treybrown 09-21-2007, 04:36 PM How do you know this? I know this because if he wasn't 100% then Bruke would have not gone after him in the off season. He looks great out there but still needs to find linemates, after he finds them WATCH OUT!!! He's going to put up the number's believe me! He's going to a monster year. He looks happy to be here in Anaheim playing under a GM that he trusts. treybrown 09-21-2007, 04:38 PM I don't know why his assist totals would drop from his last full Canuck season now when he is playing with offensively better Ducks team. UBCsalmonslayer 09-24-2007, 10:06 AM If Bert manages to stay healthy all season then look out... he could be in for a big season offensively. 80 points is not out of the question. Popcorn_Shrimp* 09-24-2007, 06:36 PM Vcr fan here.....im not a big fan of the ducks..esp since last playoffs.. but i hope Bert really rips it up with you guys and shows that he still has the ability to put up big points. goodluck lux_interior 09-25-2007, 12:47 AM Who the **** do you think you are calling Bertuzzi a back picking? I'll let DFC do the rest of the welcoming. Also, anyone else wondering what will happen to the top two lines if B.Ryan does really well and Selanne comes back? Kunitz-McDonald-Selanne Bertuzzi-Getzlaf-Perry Moen-Pahlsson-Niedermayer May-Marchant-Ryan Carter might have to take Marchant's spot if he's traded to make room for Selanne. treybrown 09-26-2007, 03:53 PM Thanks for the info and welcome to the boards. That's why it says "if Selanne comes back." monster_bertuzzi 09-26-2007, 09:51 PM Uhhh...guys....he's always been a 70 point player. Nothing has changed. Show me when he hasn't in the past 5 years. 85 pts 97 pts 60 pts (69 games) 71 pts ...and then his injury riddled season last year. Basically, if healthy - he is good for at least 70 points.
