According to the Ducks blog on the main board, you should be able to sing up for Center Ice online and watch preseason games for free. Here is the link to the site.

I do believe that they've changed their name to the BatShark: the Animated Hockey Team. You should change your thread title to reflect that.

I don't like their new logo. Can't say much, our jersey is worse this year as well.. However, I have no idea why they would change their logo. The other one was better.

after seeing the new ducks uniform in person it actually doesnt look as bad as I thought. The collar especially doesn't look as horrible when someone is wearing it.

Shannon had two points in preseason play tonight. Of course it's preseason, and King has had quite the outing on the other spectrum.

Of course, Shannon will have much more of an influence on the team than King.

I know the Ducks have their reasons, but Shannon has such good vision, and his passes are usually tape to tape. Way too early to give up on Shannon in my opinion.

That game was SO boring. The Ducks couldn't stay on their skates to save their lives tonight. I was not impressed by Bertuzzi at all. Getz leveled him in the first period, he was behind the plays too much and took a stupid penalty. It was sad to watch the PG line without the other P, they made a couple of plays like they were expecting Penner to be there to knock the puck in. Parros had a great scoring chance, the section next to me was chanting "Let's Go Parros". Hiller looked good, the Sharks goalie Greiss looked even better. The Ducks had their chances, the puck was sent wide so many times you figured it just had to get in at some point but never did. Oh well, my next live game is the home opener. I can't wait to watch them raise the banners right in front of me. :handclap:

Perry-Getz also played with Miller and I was not all that impressed with that line. Miller just did not mesh well with them IMO. However Miller did impress me on his PK play.

Man, the ducks are team full of corey perrys... How many times did that stupid puck barely dribble wide? And to top it off, late in the game Perry gets a breakaway and puts it right into the goalie... :shakehead

San Jose blocked a butt load of shots, by the way.

When Bertuzzi was on the line with Getz and Perry it was really, really good. Don't know why they changed it up like that...

Bertuzzi played both with Perry-Getz and Kunitz-Mac tonight and I have to say that he looks so much better with Kunitz-Mac. Kunitz-Mac-Bert line had many scoring chances and showed very good scoring potential even if they were not able to finish tonight.

kondratiev looked great on the PP. Later in the game they put Huskins on the PP and he was terrible. He looked great otherwise, but on the PP he was bad news.

Hey. Back after missing the last 3 preseason games due to a band retreat at school. Instead of reading the GDTs, I was wondering if anyone could summarize what's been happening. Anything special? Anything worth mentioning?

Um.. haven't been to any games, but I'll tell you what i think..

Still lots of question marks on the roster..

Bad things: Schneider out at least 4 weeks, Kunitz doesn't seem to be doing that great, although his hand still may be hurting. No one has really stepped up their scoring so far. Looking like we will struggle with goal scoring with the current roster. Teemu and Scott STILL HAVEN'T DECIDED ANYTHING..

Good things: Bertuzzi seems to be playing very well. King has been impressive. Parros has shown some scoring touch. Andymac has been flying, but needs someone to finish.

Bobby Ryan looks like he needs a full AHL season. There is a lot of question marks surrounding this team right now.

Someone who's been to the games can probably do a better job, but hopefully that gives you an idea.

I'm well aware that he did very well last pre-season. As for King, the problem was that he has to go to the slot to score goals, as he's not really blessed with an impressive skill set, other than pretty good wheels.

I do hope that King does well, I really like the Ducks because of the style of play that they play (Though secretly I hope Bertuzzi sucks this year).
