I bought a new handheld radio to listen to the play by play on AM 830 during the games, but I couldn't get a signal with it inside the pond. Does anyone know a good radio to get for this purpose?
Thanks.
Thanks.
(OT) Good Hand Held Radio To Use at The Pond?Ducks 09-15-2007, 03:22 PM I bought a new handheld radio to listen to the play by play on AM 830 during the games, but I couldn't get a signal with it inside the pond. Does anyone know a good radio to get for this purpose? Thanks. Mooseduck 09-15-2007, 04:25 PM I think there is an alternate frequency within the Honda Center. I don't have it offhand, so either call the Ponda or call the Ducks. Good luck. Ducks 09-15-2007, 07:59 PM sweet thx. anyone know what it is offhand? Sam Beckett 09-15-2007, 10:20 PM I want to say 1640.. but I can't find anything to back that up.. does that sound right to anyone... btpdragon 09-15-2007, 10:41 PM I think the channel is 1610. They announce it before each game and put it on the lower bowl scoreborads in the corners a few times each game. May even be in the ducks digest that they hand out. When in doubt look for someone with a radio and make a new friend. Duck Fan 09-16-2007, 01:33 AM I want to say 1640.. but I can't find anything to back that up.. does that sound right to anyone... The station is 1610. MOENing 09-16-2007, 01:37 AM that sounds like a good idea Mooseduck 09-16-2007, 04:25 AM Yep, they show the station on the big screen before each game around warmups. No need for a new radio! Have fun :) Sam Beckett 09-16-2007, 05:15 AM The station is 1610. Darn it.. I just remembered that.. and came back to change it.. oh well.. Mooseduck 09-17-2007, 02:49 AM As others have pointed out, 1610 is the frequency within the Honda Center. They made the regular announcement during warmups tonight. :) | ||
