I bought a new handheld radio to listen to the play by play on AM 830 during the games, but I couldn't get a signal with it inside the pond. Does anyone know a good radio to get for this purpose?

Thanks.

I think there is an alternate frequency within the Honda Center. I don't have it offhand, so either call the Ponda or call the Ducks. Good luck.

I think the channel is 1610. They announce it before each game and put it on the lower bowl scoreborads in the corners a few times each game. May even be in the ducks digest that they hand out.

When in doubt look for someone with a radio and make a new friend.

Yep, they show the station on the big screen before each game around warmups.
No need for a new radio!

Have fun :)

As others have pointed out, 1610 is the frequency within the Honda Center.
They made the regular announcement during warmups tonight. :)
