Your GM would probably have you believe that Schneider steps in and fills Niedermayer's skates, and Bertuzzi fills Selanne's. Schneider is very good offensively, and underrated defensively. He's no Niedermayer, and you'll miss the speed on the back end, but Matt is an adequate substitute.

Bert on the other hand, I wouldn't expect more out of him than maybe replacing Penner's offense. You're gonna need someone like Getzlaf to really step it up to fill Flash's void, or you're gonna have to acquire a forward during the season. JMO.

That's pretty high expectations. You should be thrilled if you can get 25G/50pts out of him.

In camp he has looked more like the pre-Moore incident Bertuzzi than the Florida/Detroit Bertuzzi...I'm expecting more than 50 points from him with Andy Mac or Getzlaf setting him up.
