I understood that Sami had an abdominal injury earlier this summer. Nobody seem to care much at the time. Looks like he will be out 3-5 weeks. This was on the team's radar.

well...teemu does not have a contract, so he's not a Duck...so why would I expect him in London? If Scott decided to retire, we wouldn't see him as well...

Really sucks that Sammy's games played streak is going to come to an end. It was a hell of a streak. I'd say there's a very strong chance we'll see Ryan Carter in London than.

What I don't understand is why he waited so long to get this done. I guess I don't understand the timeline too well, but it sounds from the articles like he was having problems at the end of last season. Why not get cut right after the cup win and get it over with?

He's skating so I'd say he has an outside chance of playing in the three-game road swing after London. If not, gotta expect him by the home opener as with Jiggy.

It not really all that long....They will be skating soon, if not already. They just need to prepare for the regular season with a small camp of their own.

They should be ready for sometime in mid-October. After the home opener in Boston. (Oct 16th or so)
