I don't know if this has been posted anywhere, but has anyone seen this possible rendering of the Devils RBK jerseys??? It's probably highly unlikely that the new jersey's will look like that, but I think the design is pretty cool.

thats not the new jerseys it was something i did for fun. Now i see them poping up on other boards.

They are pretty plain compared to what they used to have. Not impressed with them at all.

That jersey is officially the worst jersey in the NHL. Ever.

Just downright dull. Way to celebrate new jersey technology with a design a 5 year old could have made.

Any hockey player knows 8 degrees cooler is a well welcomed thing. I'm sure they like it.

Not all teams have announced/shown their new jerseys yet....the Devils being one of the teams that haven't shown the "new jerseys" yet. Those Rebook jerseys on the Devils site are the old ones...the new jerseys have the NHL logo on the neck.

New design probably no. Lou and the organization is very big on tradition. The Devils are only 1 of 3 teams (Detorit and Carolina/Hartford) to have never adopted an alternate uniform. I doubt there are going to be any noticeable difference in the uniform. And considering we have yet to hear any thing about them as we get closer to camp just confirms that.

I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see the Devils new jerseys until the first preseason game. No fanfare, no big release date.

This is going to be a dud of epic proportions.

Alot of the new designs are just plain bad. Like "I'm making a
movie and I need a generic hockey team in it, but we only have
25 minutes to make the uniforms" bad.

This is no different. The blue is so close to the black it loses
its' two-tonedness. Which makes it look very bland. The logo
is pathetic. When you see actual people wearing them, unless
they're built like a stick, they look fat. There was another player
in the Tampa promo shoot that looked like a damned whale. It
seems to be worse in the white ones.

And it's not even that the new ones are bad (maybe with the
exception of the Caps, but that's just more of their old school
design), it's the botching up of some of the classic jerseys.
Like the Rangers being the Angers with the R looking like it was
put on as an afterthought, because there's not enough damn
room for it.

I really don't understand why they're doing this. It's going to
fail on pretty much all fronts. How much are the lettered
authentics going for?

No, but I just got a Mission Intake and have been playing way better just from getting that, and my head is definitely cooler and sweat isn't running down my face. I recommend it, but just saying a cooler temp means less sweating which means less water loss which means more energy and better play. May not be noticeable to us but I'm sure they'll notice it.

I don't think the Flyers will make any major changes either. The rumored jersey only has the white on the shoulders kind of curve up to the neck weather than going straight across the shoulders. I can't find the pic, but hopefully you know what I mean.

But to stay on topic, I think the Devils won't make any drastic changes either.
