I dont think Getzlaf hits 80 points, though he has a chance, and I think Moen pots 15. Nieds at 3 goals may be sadly accurate. If the better Niedermayer is gone, I think Beauchemin has a nice offensive year because of the increased ppl time.

Pretty accurate projection, but I can see in a 90 point season for Getzlaf and 30 goals for Perry. Schneider will have less points.

I think your right and I might be over estimating on Getzlaf, but the lost goals from Selanne have got to come from somewhere....

Why would Beauch get more pp time? Wasn't Schneider brought in to eat those minutes?

Moen 15 huh... maybe a bump to 12 wouldn't hurt but I think 15 is pushing it for a forward whose job it is to shutdown other players.

Thnx for the feedback! :)

I guess Schneider has a good chance of 1st line ppl duty. I dont know what to expect from him really.

7 goals in 21 playoff games though. Travis has some skills. Those 11 goals weren't accidents (his Cup-winner was ironically). I think Randy may even test Travis out on the second line if in fact Burkie signs someone like Jeff Friesen or Mike Johnson that was been rumored.

Player G A P +/- PIM
Ryan Getzlaf 37 44 81 19 88
this is pretty close to what I'm guessing. Maybe less goals and more assists though.
Andy McDonald 29 48 77 12 46
Spot on
Chris Kunitz 30 39 69 19 81
I predicted 30 last year and he came up a little short. This year he'll do it
Corey Perry 26 42 68 14 66
I think Corey is going to score a lot of goals this year. I reall see Getzy feeding him the puck a lot. I say 32 goals.
Chris Pronger 14 48 62 23 86
Sounds good
Todd Bertuzzi 24 33 57 9 98
Ergh, I hope this won't be reality but I fear it will be.
Mathieu Schneider 12 44 56 12 72
Like Getzy, I think the points are good but more assists than goals.
Francois Beauchemin 8 24 32 8 56
I think Franky may have a monster year. Something tells me he's going to take this extra ice-time and run with it.
Bobby Ryan 12 16 28 -7 32
If he plays 50-60 games he should get these numbers. Probably a lot more PIMS though.
Todd Marchant 9 19 28 6 40
If he stays healthy I'd say 15 at least. Unless George Parros becomes an everyday player
Samuel Pahlsson 7 16 23 -6 36
That sounds about right.
Sean O'Donnell 4 16 20 10 90
I'd say 2 goals too many and a little heavy on the assists.
Travis Moen 9 9 18 -7 94
Stated above
Andrew Miller 6 10 16 -8 30
If the kid gets more than a cup of coffee maybe. If any rookie gets significant ice-time I think he might be Ryan but Drew does deserve a good shot
Brad May 3 11 14 -5 52
52 PIMs??? Try tripling that, at least.
Kent Huskins 2 11 13 -2 52
That sounds good but he'll have a better +/- I think
Rob Niedermayer 3 9 12 -9 70
Come on, last year was an abberition for Robbie. Considering how good he looked in the playoffs I'd say 10-15
Shane Hnidy 2 7 9 4 48
As much as you can expect

I can't see McDonald and Kunitz each posting 70 points with Selanne gone. if Selanne comes back it's very possible and i'd project Getzlaf topping out in the low 70's, but he could easily have a cup hangover.

Alot is going to be on Bertuzzi to produce and remain healthy.

You forgot Parros' annual goal :)

Looks ok by my eye--although I'd say that Rob gets 5 goals just like he did last season (and last postseason--matching Teemu).

No reason to predict this kind of stuff really, it all depends on Teemu and Scotty. I'll wait until a few days before the season opener when we know what the team will look like...

I really have a hard time even making a guess.

A lot of things change with the inclusion or exclusion of Teemu and Scotty. With Teemu on the team, for example, I see Getz and Perry still getting 2nd line minutes. Perhaps slightly more than they had last season, but probably well under what Getz had in the playoffs. That would also impact Kunitz and Andy Mac.

The same goes for players like Beauchemin and Schneider, in relationship to Scotty. Beauchemin's minutes may well drop a bit if Scotty stays, because of the addition of Schneider. Certainly he's less likely to get the same kind of PP minutes he got.

Yeah but it's something fun to do and talk about during the most BORING time of the off-season. I'm seriously counting down the days until training camp. I may throw a party for it.

It's just been rumored it all. I didn't mind him the last time he was here. Wouldn't say I'd be happy to see him for a third time but I know what we'll get from him.

Bertuzzi will score 70 points or so provided he's healthy and plays a full season. Ship it.

I'm with you, even in a bad year two years ago he still put up 70 points, last year he was on track to have a huge year before the injury. If he's healthy he's going to slot in perfectly with the kids. He's faster than Penner and has more skill and Pens got most of his goals playing with them. Bertuzzi/Getzlaf/Perry could very well emerge as the top line, and probably will if Selanne goes. If Selanne returns you won't find many teams who have a better top 9.

Please no, didn't like him when he was here before.
