wow, great to hear. Snoop Dog was just the beginning for these Ducks. But its pretty pathetic that the team has to be good to sell out..

I feel sorry for the long term season ticket holders.
Now they have to put up with the bandwagon crowds all season. :(

Thats not pathetic. It makes perfect sense. The team is good, which means they are fun to watch, which in turn means that they sell tickets. Most casual fans dont want to pay to lose.

What would be pathetic, is if the team was good and STILL couldnt sell tickets.

Where's the people who said "hockey will never work in California" or "even with a Cup, the Ducks will never sell out games"? :biglaugh:

What is pathetic is watching all those loyal Maple Leafs fans who wait for THE YEAR, getting in return a ****** season.

This is not to disrespect the Maple Leafs fans, but a shot to their management/ownership.

Tampa Bay... what a joke. They were only 3rd in attendance last season behind Montreal and Detroit.

Is that paid attendance or could the Lightning have given away a bunch of tickets to make it look more full.

God for you Ducks fans for stepping up. I always thought that hockey could work in California. I just think that it still has no chance in Florida, TB, Carolina, Nashville, Atlanta. I hope it works.... I just dont think it will.

Awesome stuff. Let's hope the Cup win last year has sparked long-term interest in the team! Another viable franchise is exactly what the NHL needs.
