Clarkson Falls Down 08-20-2007, 02:14 PM Anyone else see the movie? Personally, I thought it was one of the funniest movies I've ever seen, if not THE funniest. Just too much stuff to remember from the movie that cracked me up.
As a 18 year old, I related alot to the movie and many say that Superbad maybe the iconic movie of my generation (i.e. Animal House for you older guys haha)

According to Rotten Tomatoes (http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/superbad/), most critics are giving it good reviews. I think it's definitely one of the funniest movies I have ever seen, and it's funny that for the guy who played McLovin it's his first acting credit. I heard they just plucked him off the street somewhere.

Amateur Hour 08-20-2007, 08:57 PM Beyond hysterical. So many one-liners, and the actors all play their parts perfectly. Like a previous poster said, gut-busting laughs every 10 seconds.
I don't think I've ever laughed so hard during a movie as I did when McLovin excitedly blurted, "I have a boner!" I actually missed the next few minutes of the movie because I couldn't stop laughing.
I also loved the Orson Welles reference... great stuff.

Wow. This is the first forum in which I've seen any actual anti-Hot Fuzz sentiment. Even Seth Rogen (co-writer of, and 'Officer Michaels' in, Superbad) thinks Simon Pegg and co are hysterical and "better than him".
