Elias-Gomez-Suglabov "The New A- Line" No...please...keep Gomez AWAY from Elias. NJ_Devil_Boy 01-05-2004, 03:07 PM I'm glad Lou came on HFBoards and read my post. "I wouldn't mind Suglobov getting the call to NJ. This Devils team can't put the puck in the net these days and it seems Suglobov has a very hot hand right now." From: h**p://www.hfboards.com/showthread.php?threadid=40720 :p Note: I hope someone will be able to pick up the offense in Albany with Suglobov in NJ. :( rtafts 01-05-2004, 04:11 PM Let's hope he stays up untill Saturday, I'm going to the game against te Leafs. Unthinkable 01-05-2004, 05:02 PM I can only hope that Suglobov's youthful enthusiasm helps turn around Larionov's alleged discontent in a big hurry. Ronnie Bass 01-05-2004, 05:04 PM I can only hope that Suglobov's youthful enthusiasm helps turn around Larionov's alleged discontent in a big hurry. Is that really true? Ohhhh boy.......... Unthinkable 01-05-2004, 05:09 PM Is that really true? Ohhhh boy.......... Larry Brooks had a tiny blurb at the end of a story in the NY Post yesterday saying some of Larionov's former teammates in Detroit have heard some not so happy rumblings. Going on some other stories printed in the Star Ledger earlier in the season where Igor was pretty upfront about how different things are here with compared to Detroit, I can see some probable truth in this.... http://www.nypost.com/sports/15038.htm "Finally, Lou Lamoriello sure doesn't miss much, but he seems to have blundered with the signing of the creative and fiercely independent-minded Igor Larionov, who, we hear, has told confidantes in Detroit that working for the Devils is "worse than the Red Army." He'll be gone within a month, one way or another, that's a shame. I Hate Tie DOMI 01-05-2004, 08:16 PM He'll be gone within a month, one way or another, that's a shame. It doesn't matter. What has he done lately? Nothing. He was supposed to help with the powerplay and he did for the first few games of the year, now the team is almost back to last years PP. I knew they shouldn't have signed him in the first place. Guttersnipe 01-05-2004, 08:30 PM He'll be gone within a month, one way or another, that's a shame. I dunno, I don't think Larionov is going anywhere unless he asks for a trade. DevilMinder 01-05-2004, 10:15 PM Here is a shot of Suglobov.. he had some good shifts. Made some rookie mistakes but overall he had more impact in the game then Pihlman did recently (as well as Larionov) http://www.njdevs.com/images/sugo.jpg DevilsRule.com 01-06-2004, 07:08 AM I have a few shots of him in my pics from the game.. http://www.devilsrule.com/pic.php?tdate=20040105 Bill http://www.devilsrule.com/ Guttersnipe 01-06-2004, 05:17 PM I have a few shots of him in my pics from the game.. http://www.devilsrule.com/pic.php?tdate=20040105 Bill http://www.devilsrule.com/ :yo: BTW, you rule, your pics are great.
