He always gets robbed or misses the net. He has been down on himself the whole season. He's been good (reliable, more the word) defensivley and doesn't really mess up too bad.
More than anything, he's been invisible though. Last year, he was exciting to watch but now, he's like everyone else on the team (save McDonald and Vish) and is inaffective.

His 'poor' play is more a reflection of the team he's on than anything else.

Thanks God NO!
I never look at him as a Kariya-like player but he could develope into a Samsonov-like player. At least I hope so, but the the team poor play has affected him more than anyone else probably.

Not Val Bure. He goes to the net. I mean he doesn't live there or anything, but he'll go when he has to. Throws the occasional check.
He just isn't making very good decisions with the puck in terms of offense. He hasn't gotten himself open very much lately, but he's been finding his teammates pretty well.

No reason he couldn't be a 70 point guy if he puts it all together. Assist heavy.

Amen Chock.
I see a possible first line in three years like Chistov-Getzlaf-Lupul.
Chistov mainly assist-man, Lupul mainly scorer.
They would fit well I think, but who knows what we'll pick in next drafts.

He should still develop into something like Samsonov...but not as good of a wrist shot of course...
