Friesen?Nikkowar 01-02-2004, 07:33 PM Back for my annual Friesen checkup. How's he doing? Blackjack 01-02-2004, 07:40 PM He's got the clap. What...on...earth...did...you...do...to...him? Nikkowar 01-02-2004, 07:45 PM . What...on...earth...did...you...do...to...him? I did nothing to him. MissionHockey 01-02-2004, 09:40 PM What ever it was, it sure hasn't helped him put the puck in the net. MattNJD 01-03-2004, 02:33 PM What ever it was, it sure hasn't helped him put the puck in the net. At least he's been scoring lately. Do Friesen's streaks remind anyone else of the streaks that Brian Rolston used to have here in NJ. Ya know, for a month he was the best offensive player in NJ, then he couldn't score on an open net for a month... drove me crazy. Ronnie Bass 01-03-2004, 04:49 PM At least he's been scoring lately. Do Friesen's streaks remind anyone else of the streaks that Brian Rolston used to have here in NJ. Ya know, for a month he was the best offensive player in NJ, then he couldn't score on an open net for a month... drove me crazy. Yeah good call, Rolston used to frustrate the hell out of me, tons of talent but he could never put it together on a consistent basis. Unthinkable 01-03-2004, 04:55 PM You know what makes it all the more frustrating to watch is that much like Patrik Elias did, he said before the season started he wanted to be far a more consistent player this season. I can't in good faith really knock him for his efforts most nights, but the scoring touch seems to have really taken a prolonged leave of absence a bit more then I care for. With Langs out, its even more pressing he chips in with some timely scoring punch. He's got to use those wheels more and start finishing some of those empty net opportunities by all means. | ||
