Strange. His cousin Brandon Nolan was drafted by the Devils (and then later by the Canucks). Did Nolan ever attend a Devils' rookie camp? Maybe he convinced the team to give Johnson a tryout.

The bio says we drafted his cousin Branden Nolan in the third round, I think when somebody did research on him they didn't read to carefully and thought it said we drafted Johnson when it instead states that we drafted his cousin Nolan.
