Per NHL.com, the Devils have signed AHL Manchester prospect Noah Clarke who saw some time on the Kings last season. I assume this is a move for Lowell but have not seen it mentioned anywhere.

Classic Devil 07-12-2007, 01:15 PM Yay Lowell?
Guttersnipe 07-12-2007, 01:52 PM Yay Lowell?
I'm guessing Lowell will get a couple new guys like this if Bergfors and Philman go to Europe, Clarkson goes to the big show and/or Minard is a goner.
lucscaps 07-12-2007, 03:02 PM This certianly isn't a get bigger signing, the guys' 5'9
MaLockFan 07-12-2007, 03:51 PM Good signing for Lowell. With Minard gone...we are going to need someone to score some goals.

If you watched Lowell last season, did Minard strike you as a bonifide NHL player?
Someone that can score in the NHL.
Strengths/weaknesses? thnx
MaLockFan 07-12-2007, 04:18 PM Season tix holder to Lowell. Plus about 10-15 road games. You gotta love the A.
Minard has excelled at every level he's been in so far. Gritty, edgy, sneaky, tough, leader. Gets in a few scraps when he doesn't really need to, kind of a big mouth..instigator. He'll be in the NHL someday soon...although going to be tough to crack Pittsburgh.

that's what I thought, you gotta to wonder why the Devs let him go. :(
BennyBST 07-12-2007, 09:10 PM good for him, i assumed he was heading to europe. this kid plays with a lot of heart, won't make the nj devils but should be a callup. good pickup for lowell, he'll face his former team most likely 10 times this season.

Devils didn't let him go. He was never signed as a devil.
go kim johnsson 514 07-13-2007, 10:34 AM Noah Clarke is capable of a call up, he's a pretty good, hard-working AHL player.

And those moves he can pull-off :amazed:
Especially the 180 spinorama when he comes off his off-wing...
You just don't see many guys who can do that at that speed without being a complete diva.
TheJoeMan 07-13-2007, 02:47 PM Well that officially ends the local-boy Noah Clarke experiment in LA (he was born 25 miles from LA). He's a real fast skater and works hard. I think playing on a more structured team could give him a better shot at the NHL. Oh well, good luck in New Jersey/Lowell Noah.
