the Devils playoffs? or was he just a bit? I've been arguing that he was a bit of the Devils playoff runs and was never a key to our playoff runs with Rangers fans over at their board. And I'm just trying to get opinions of other Devils fans if he was ever a key to our playoff success.

well, this year he was the leading scorer through the first two rounds out of all the teams........

yes of course, because he was playing for a contract and it paid off for him big-time.
As much as we appreciated him over the years and acknowledge that he was a big part of this teams' success over the last 8 years, why couldn't we see him play the way he did in this year's playoffs over the course of an entire 82 game season and in previous playoffs?
He's the NYR problem for the next 7 years. :sarcasm:

Who really cares? I mean were any of you really upset at Claude Lemieux when he never matched his playoff play with his regular season?
Seriously, some of you need to get over this better than trying to find his faults, he was a very good player for us, and sometimes great, and now he is gone, end of story.
And this thread as well.
