Lou could offer Shanny 5 million each season for 2 years. It would not strap us cap wise long term and he would make the Elias line very dangerous. Proposed trade: I doubt Minnesota would do this but I am just throwing names out: Matvichuck, Bergfors, and a 2nd round draft pick for Brian Rolston. -I don't know if the Devils would have to give more than that.
