Joe Thornton is missing - at least his sign is.

Earlier this month, Thornton's mother refused to confirm when the actual dedication was to take place, saying she did not want the media to show up.

"It's none of your business," Mary Thornton told the Times-Journal last week. "All you do is write bad things so we have no respect for anybody that is in the reporting industry from the Times-Journal."

"That's right from Joe's mouth," she added.
