TSN's Top 5 Plays of 2003

This is a bit late, but for those who don't get/don't watch TSN, Jiggy's save on Marian Gaborik in Game 1 of the WCF was their top save of 2003, as it was the only goaltending save in their top 5. It was #5. The top 4, in order, were:

4. Randy Moss pass over the head to some teammate(can't remember the name) for a TD.

3. Pavel Datsyuk goal on Turco earlier this season(breakaway)

2. Maxim Afenigenov goal on Kolzig

1. Sidney Crosby goal against some goalie(Remparts, I think)

ESPN did a similar thing tonight on NHL2night.

Kariya was 4th or 5th with his get-knocked-down/score-a-goal routine.

Jiggy was 2nd for his performance in the playoffs.

Interesting topic indeed. My top 5 momemts from 2003 are:

1. Rucchin's series winning goal against the Wings
2. Giggy winning the Conn Smyth
3. Kariya getting flatten by Stevens
4. Andy Mac's OT goal against the Avs (was this in 2003?)
5. Ducks signing Fedorov

ESPn had one during Christmas and the Ducks/Stars got the #6 for top plays of 2003.. The game when it hit 5 OT's..
My top ones are

A little after the fact, but Steve Levy's call on that 5OT goal was lame.

"The game that wouldn't die...just...did."

My favorite top 5 moments of 2003 (on ice).

1. Rucchin's goal and the celebration after. Watching and thinking about that gives me goosebumps.
2. Games 3 and 4 of the finals. Watching the replay on the opening sequence of NHL 2K4 of Salei's game winner also gives me goosebumps. Too bad it shows the Devils winning the cup right after.
3. Giguere holding up the puck helmetless in the Detroit series. I was lucky enough to be in that end facing Giguere for that save and Rooch's OT winner.
4. Ozolinsh scoring to put the Ducks ahead 4-3 in game 6 against Dallas.
5. Kariya getting KO'd but coming back to score.. I hate the ******* now but I won't deny the energy that created when he came back to the bench. If he played like that in game 7 we might have won the whole thing.

My top 5
1. Game 1 vs Detroit. Set the scene for the great playoff run, broke the 8 game playoff winning streak that detroit had over us.
2. Kariya's goal in game 6. awesome. the atmosphere that created was phenomenal(sp)
3. Rucchin's OT winner vs Detroit in game 4. Long overdue credit for a long time underated player. Great moment for him I am sure.
4. Game 3 vs Minnesota. from 1-0 ducks to 4-0 in like 8 minutes, broke the streak of consecutive 1 goal wins and I had the feeling watching this game that there was no stopping the Ducks now!
5. Regular season game. Ducks 6 Kings 5. Remember this one? Felt like a playoff game to me. Sykora, Oates, Rucchin and Kariya came through in one of Giggy's rare shaky games in 2002-2003.
