Oddly enough there's a feature (http://nhl.com/intheslot/read/ahl/ahl122403.html) on him on NHL.com.

Apparently he's second among rookie goal-scorers and fourth in points.

great minds think alike
fools tend to think in pairs

I saw this earlier today when I was surfing around at NHL.com and was going to post it.
Nice to see Kunitz has turned it on

The Baby Ducks haven't, though. They've lost 3 straight, scoring only twice.

And here's a partial transcript of a chat session with Casey Hankinson at theahl.com. He's a funny b.astard.

Mike Anderson - As a former teammate at the University of Minnesota, I would first just like to congratulate you on your marriage this summer. I also am wondering if you could offer any suggestions to someone who has left the game for a year or two, but is feeling the passion to make a comeback?

Casey - The best advice I can give is you pick another sport.

I got tired of chasing down your missed shots.

Congratulations on your engagement to Kathleen.

Cincy Amanda - If you were not playing hockey, what do you think you would do instead? (as far as a career is concerned)

Casey - I do not really know. Possibly something in real estate development or broadcasting.

If anybody knows of any 20 hour per week jobs please let me know.

Howard from Virginia Beach - How did it feel to win division titles with Norfolk the past 2 seasons.

Casey - It felt very rewarding to win two division titles over the past two seasons. The best part being that all the hard work my teammates and coaches put in will be remembered.

Mike - Casey you have been very productive on the power play. How is the Ducks power play been this year?

Casey - The power play started out real well but has slowed down quite a bit and we need to improve that in order to win more games.

Tommy from Virginia Beach - Casey, what if anything do you miss about playing for the Admirals?

Casey - I cannot say enough good things about Norfolk.

I would say that I miss the ocean for one, great fan support in Norfolk and a lot of the teammates I played with there for three seasons.

Kris from Virginia Beach - Casey, we miss you in Norfolk this year. And as a Buckeye transplant to Hampton Roads, welcome to Ohio! How hard was it for you to adapt to a new coach, team and style of play?

Casey - It is a little different compared to Norfolk because I was there for 3 years and used to their system.

We have a great coach here in Cincinnati and taleted players that have helped smooth my transition.

Shannon Kelly - Who was your role model growing up?

Casey - My two older brothers. I tried to do everything they did growing up.

I am glad they chose hockey because if they picked ballet, I would be wearing a tutu right now.

Good college free agent signing by Murray. This guy could be a good NHL player.

:handclap:

Good to see Chris doing well in the pros. He was terrific at FSU last year (he didn't win the Hobey Baker, but I voted for him! ;) ).

FYI, FSU (Ferris State) hasn't been quite the same this season without him.
