Giggy tonight?

Is it Gerber or Giggy tonight? I'm hoping it's Giguere because the team needs to him play well from here on in to make some noise.

I'm guessing Giguere since hes been playing better lately and theyve had a pretty long break.

It's Giguere according to the LA Times.

Interesting.

See, if Rucchin had hit Weiss there instead of trying to steal the puck, he'd have won that battle.

It's annoying how weak he's become.

That was maybe the worst turnover I've ever seen, and from Carney?

Holy crap.

Spankatola Jamnuts

Johnson has about a half an hour in front of the net by himself as Lupul and Rucchin create chaos, and he scores.

Save by Biron on Chistov :(

Luongo was way out of position.

I admit that I was saying stupid Babcock before this game started after seeing Johnson with Lupul and Rooch.

Oops.

This is a game between two talented teams with really bad defenses, that means lots of chances and goaltender battles.

Which makes for a heck of a game.

Jiggy's made like 9 awesome saves already. When we lose this road game at least it won't be because of him.

Giguere has been out of his mind so far, hopefully he keeps that up or we're f-ed once again.

How could this defense which was so positionally sound last season be such crap this season?

Nice hit there by Lupul. Good backcheck.

The more I think about that the more I feel that it's the change in the forward corps. Last year's guys were much better at being available for passes from the, and better at helping and knowing when to help.

Luongo falls down there...missed opportunity.

On Johnson:

I dunno why the hell people are so hard on him. He's one of the few guys giving it his all every time he plays. He's slightly built but he checks hard and drives to the net. I've never seen him blow an assignment, certainly not to the degree that our higher profile guys are doing.

If you expect all kinds of offense out of him, or some kind of mind-blowing play then that's on you.

I know it's only one period. But Jigger looks better than Luongo. Luongo is giving up rebounds, turning the puck over. While Giguere looks solid. Maybe that's what we need to get back to playing solid D.

Johnson looked like the man on that goal. Course he did have a day and a half to go to his forehand on the wraparound.

Looks like Keenan taught Florida how to play defense. He's just what we need! :shakehead

On a another note, I'm glad the making of the 2004 Dallas Cowboys cheerleader's calendar is done on ESPN. Now I won't be distracted. ;)

I take it back. That brutal turnover came off of Simpson's stick, not Carney's.

Sorry, Keith.

Oh, did you guys notice how Trnka shot the 2134 feet wide on a wide open net? Can't say I miss that guy.

Awesome recap by ESPN on this game I thought. Anaheim loses the season series as this was the only game they played the Panthers in.

Ducks have lost FIVE (5) of their last SIX (6) games and are DEAD LAST in the division right now. Third (3) worst team in the conference.

close this thread and send a warning to this guy. What is the point of Trolling???
