Barnaby?

I think he is a UFA, played in Dallas last season, was effective, but got injured.
He is 34 and may be the agitator that the Devs have not had for the last few seasons. He also can score a few goals. May be a nice fit on the 3rd line.

Its tough, for the right price I would give him a shot as I've always liked his abrasiveness and we sorely lack that. But if signing him keeps guys like Pelly and Clarkson from making it then I don't know if I would do it. however having him for a year or two to teach them a little of that edge would be good.

There's no need for Barnaby since we have Clarkson.

FYI, he said he only wanted to play in Dallas next year and if they didn't re-sign him, which is looking unlikely, than he will retire.

id rather have arron asham b/c he is a ufa. he is only like 29 and will drop the gloves, throw his weight around cam-style, and scored 11 goals for the isles last season and can play about 10 mins a game or so.

Yeah according to the hockey's future description of Clarkson, he's a big agitator. I think once he settles down in the NHL we're gonna see him agitating alot of other team players.

That's why I'm all for keeping Janssen or Rupp, and putting Clarkson on the roster full time.
