before the ducks

I'm sure that most people on here followed hockey before the ducks were a franchise. What was your favourite team before the ducks played there first game??? Mine was the Sharks. I still remember having a poster in my room with diferent sharks players on it and the goalie on the poster was brian hayward. haha.

Just because a team is made in your city doesn't mean you just ditch your team like that. I lived 15 minutes from the Pond when they unfortunately made the Ducks, but it doesn't mean I have to run over to them. You stick with your team.

If that was the case no franchise team would have a single fan.

I didnt really follow hockey until the Lightning were here and the year after the Ducks started up. I've liked both since I've started watching hockey so I've grown up with both so to speak.

Like I've said before - Kings fans spend more time thinking about our team than we do.

Long time Flames fan, since the Theo days, rootin for them again this season, hope they make the playoffs.

I started following hockey in '94 when the Rangers won the Cup. In 94-95 I started following the Ducks.

I didn't follow hockey untill the Ducks started. Their first NHL regular season game at the Pond was on my birthday, and I went to see it, while in Anaheim. Since then I've been a Ducks fan. I also cheer for the Oil, who got me as a fan during the Smyth-Weight-Guerin days.

Before the Ducks I was an Islanders fan. A few years ago I got tired of the constant fire sales and started following the Ducks.

Next to Anaheim, Edmonton is my fav team.
