Expansion a posability in the near future?

That's pretty interesting.i wonder though if anything comes from this.i mean you hear stuff like this all the time or you hear about teams moving so this could be quite intersting if anything comes from it

I guess it's inevitable. I'm just glad we got our Cup Win out of the way. With 32-40 teams it's going to be really tough for some fans who never get to see their team win.

If a different team wins it every year every team would have a 32+ year drought. That is what is so tough. It's not easy now and days to win multiple Stanley Cups. Even though the Ducks team will be great again next season one mishap could end it all.

Am I the only one who finds it odd that the bigger Kansas City is in Missouri and not Kansas?

It just seems to me we should wait a few more years for another expansion, to make sure we don't need any more relocations first. Just like how Nashville might be moved, it seems to me if you're intent on growing the game you have to make sure you give it enough of a chance to see if it can succeed. Although subsidizing Nashville while it grows costs money and expanding gives money...

And it's hard enough coming up with a schedule as is, now we want to see the other conference as well as 2 more teams? And I think the season is too long as is. If anything, they need 3 more teams and 3 conferences.

I was totally down for the 40 team NHL w/ a 10 team conferance in Europe. Damn you sarcasm!!!!
