these are probably dark horses, bucha neva know!

Don Lever-just won Calder Cup with Hamilton-he was NJ Devils first Capt. and he's in the habs organization- (another pre requesite for dev employment

Mike Haviland-current coach of AHL (brand spankin new) Rockford Ill team (former Norfolk Admirals. He took Trenton Titans to a championship a few years ago, and lived in monmouth county. He's a big intimidating guy who takes no fecal matter from anyone.

Pat Burns? What's his status? I know he has been some kind of consigliere for Lou.

That was kind of who I figured to be the hands on favorite this offseason.

How about Pat Bruns with Larry Robinson and Johnny Mac as assistants. Robinson worked so well as an assistant, and I think he actually is more comfortable as a teacher and friend to the players rather than the disciplinarian.
Robinson can handle the D, Johnny Mac can do the fowards and Burns can watch over it all...the bench would be crowded but I think it could work.

Pat Burns would be great but I'm not going to get my hopes up. I do NOT want to see Johnny Mac behind the bench.
