What are you top moments? I'm sure there are plenty but I'll try to list what I can remember.
1) The Cup parade. Teemu deservingly got the most cheers after lifting the Stanley Cup.
2) Scotty Nied's late minute goal against Detroit in Game 5. Selanne's OT goal against Hasek. This was indeed the most exciting 10 minutes the Ducks have ever played and probably Giguere's best performance in the playoffs.
3) Pahlsson goal in Game 2 against Ottawa through Corvo's legs. IMO, this goal broke Emery. He was never the same goalie again.
4) Nied bros team up for OT goal and series clincher against the Canucks.
5) Alfie's misguided shot at Scotty. Niedermayer calms down the team and go on to win Game 4.
6) Pronger and Robbie use physics to knock out Tomas Holmstrom in Game 3. Holmstrom was never the same again and Detroit loses the next 3 games. If there are comparables, I say Iginla vs. Beauchemin fight last year.
7) Andy MacDonald takes over in Game 4 of the finals scoring two goals within a minute. If there was a player who shook off all the criticism, Andy Mac raised his game in the finals scoring 5 goals and 10 total in the playoffs.
8) Pronger knocks out Dean McAmmond with a vicious elbow. Instead of using it as a rallying cry to turn the series around, the Senators bowed out in 5 games.
9) Ryan Getzlaf shorthanded goal against Minnesota in Game 2. Both Martin Skoula and Niclas Backstrom are still looking for the jock in the rafter. Getzlaf gained confidence and never looked back having one heck of a playoff.
10) Brad May/Todd Marchant/Shawn Thornton played the best shift of their career in game 1 against the Senator. This shift was the turning point that gave Anaheim momentum to come from behind. The rally conclude with Travis Moen's late game goal from Robbie Nied that sealed the deal.
Ok, those are my favorite moments. There are plenty more.
