Seeing the very orange Cup banner and lots of the very orange merchandise that has come up lately, I looked back an realized that the Ducks really got much more orange throughout the year.
Orange began as an accent color. It's barely noticeable on the Ducks uniforms at quick glance. It wasn't heavy in the merchandise. However, I think the fans wanted orange and the team realized that. Orange is a much more interesting and bold color than the black and gold main colors. A "black out" of the Honda Center may be interesting, but you definitely can't get a good "gold out" going.
My guess: the new design jersies next year will up the amount of orange.

I didn't want a free Orange t-shirt opening night but I ended up with two. Didn't like them at first but they grow on you, especially when you wear them constantly through a playoff run ending in a Cup.

I got a great slogan for next yr. Spell out the word HOCKEY with the word "is" in small and light font underneath CK and spell out the word OC in bigger letters with the ducks color scheme. The Slogan would be "OC is Hockey" or "Hockey is OC". Might sound kinda gay but oh well.

ouch. Way to kill the dream. oh well I'm moving to Minnesota this summer and they are using their 3rd for Home now so I'm cool with that MAYBE.:(
