Ducksfan2035 12-24-2003, 10:38 PM well everyone on the panther board are talking about maybe a trade between the two teams bc of anaheim coming to town..their main intrests are on Perry, lupul, bryzgalov, Chistov, Vishnevski, getzlaf and popovic for the likes of either kozlov, olli or novoseltsev, hagman and huselius...its pretty clear Bryan wont trade lupul or chistov and Andy but if their were a trade to happen,i wouldnt be suprised to see perry or vish along with a draft pick go...
lux_interior 12-24-2003, 11:54 PM Perry --- Fire away
Lupul --- No thank you
Bryzgalov --- Cleared for takeoff
Chistov --- Houston, we have a problem
Vishnevski --- 50/50
Getzlaf --- I pass
Popovic --- Either him or Vishnevski...not both.
McDonald19 12-25-2003, 01:06 AM Keep Getzlaf, Lupul, Chistov and Bryzgalov.
I no longer have high expectations for Popovic.
I'd move Vish if there is a high return.
Perry is very tradeable.
I'm not really impressed with any of Florida's players that are said to be available...maybe Kozlov would help though.
Ducksfan2035 12-25-2003, 10:05 AM yeah i like kozlov bc of his his size and he has a awesome shot
Randall Graves* 12-25-2003, 09:41 PM I knew we should have gotten Robert Lang before the season started.
Before the season he could have been had for a decent prospect or two but now it would take a top end prospect to get him.
I'd like to see Taylor Pyatt in Anaheim.

Slumping Sabres will make some changes this year, but I do not think they will give up on their young, pure-potential guys. They will first get rid of high salaries - Satan.
Takkie 12-30-2003, 09:06 AM how about Huselius and Bure for Vishnevski and a 1st/2nd
Pwnasaurus 12-30-2003, 09:31 AM how about Huselius and Bure for Vishnevski and a 1st/2nd
Trading a guy who's been our 2nd best at his position, obviously a position of weakness AND either a top 15 pick or a 35-45 pick for a guy who's been invisible all year (He's soon to be released from my fantasy squad) and a soft Russian with past health problems and a fear of the goal crease? Next.....
Takkie 12-30-2003, 11:09 AM Bure could very well provide an Offensive Spark, and Huselius has tons of Potential, and is already a proven 20 goal scorer who's in a Funk.
Hus+Bure for a defensive Defenseman who contributes little offensively and seems to have lost his Penchant for Bone crushing Hits, and a 2nd round pick is fair value.
you overrrate Vishnevski.Hus and Bure are Snipers, and like you said, bure does have a fear of the goal crease, but he scores, and he scores consistently, and huselius has also had two 20 gold seasons.
Both Huselius and Bure are Proven Commodities, and valuable ones at that (a team stacked like the blues even traded for Bure, knowing what he brings to the table) i guess you and me agree to disagree, because i think Vish and a 2nd is fair value for Hus and Bure, and i hate Huselius and his game with a passion.

You fail to take into account that with the injury to Ozolinsh and the all around poor play of the Ducks D, they cannot deal from the blueline. Please examine the other team's position when you make a trade proposal. The Ducks hardly need 2 more floaters.
Takkie 12-30-2003, 12:19 PM Hus actually isnt that much of a floater anymore, and neither is Bure, they try on the defensive end, it's just that they might as well be floating, since their not very good at it, and if the situation at D is as dire as you claim, why did murray Reputedly offer up Vishnevski in the Comrie trade talks?
ok, how about i sub Vishnevski for Sauer, and the 2nd for Sami Pahlsson.
I watched alot of ducks games during the last playoffs and Sami is one of those guys who i think is severely underrated, and he'd be a good fit on our Sand Paper line.
Kevin Forbes 12-30-2003, 12:31 PM we were able to offer up D-men back when Ozolinsh wasn't going to possibly be gone for 12 weeks.....situation has changed since the Comrie hoopla
Spankatola Jamnuts 12-30-2003, 01:43 PM Sandis opted for the surgery according to TSN.
12 weeks from Friday is March 26. We'll be eliminated or clinched by then.
Ducksfan2035 12-30-2003, 01:53 PM and if we make it,he'll be ready to play and should be a boost to our team...i duno how the shoulder will affect him but lets hope for the best
