I think Rucchin is still injured and Vishnevski is back to his normal self

He is so slow and weak and it's been driving me crazy. He needs to rest and sit out some games, because he just isn't playing anywhere near his ability. (I know it's hard to single out one guy when the whole team is playing poorly, but he is INVISIBLE)

Also, Vishnevski is back to playing girl hockey and has been losing ice time again. I guess he just had a good streak in November.

I didn't see Vish do anything wrong last night.

If the forwards never make themselves available for passes there isn't a whole lot the defense can do but chip it out. Granted, they suck at chipping it out...

I agree on Rucchin. He was so much better when he drove the net...he doesn't have the skill to be a perimeter player.

He didn't do anything wrong it's just that he wasn't hitting and standing anyone up like he had been last month. In fact, I don't remember but maybe 1 or 2 hits by anyone not on the Sharks.

Vish didn't take any of those 'uh oh' runs at anyone. That's what I mean.

At least your boy Burnette was good. :shakehead

I thing he's being discouraged from taking those, which IMO is a mistake.

I have a real problem with how Babcock's been handling Vish, Havelid, and Chistov so far this season.

With ozolinsh out I don't see havelid sitting anytime soon. I think we should try armstrong, mottau or popovic inplace of havelid for atleast one game, they can't make any more turnovers than havelid usually makes. Rucchin is definitely feeling his injuries and it is very notable because he is our loan big man in with neids and leclerc out.

Havelid's two penalties halfway through the first period tonight aren't helping him either. On the bright side, at least he hasn't made any horrible turnovers...yet
