3:3 after 2nd period

Slovakia are in trouble. Only 5 defensemens left in the game.

I didn't start watching this match until the 3rd, and I must admit I was surprised to see Slovakia tied 3-3 with Belarus keeping up some pressure on them. I suppose the Slovaks weren't known for their defense, but still. And you'd also think their vaunted forwards might put more than 3 in the net.

Oh well, every team has an off game. Even against Belarus (damn you, Salo).

Slovakia wins 4-3, empty netter on last minute. Belarus would have needed three points to still have chances for playoffs, so they gambled.
