Has Pilar been a healthy scratch for the Czechs?

Roman Kukumberg's forechecking has really been impressing me. He played for the Toronto Marlies for a season at some point, didn't he?

Pilar isn't in Czech team, because he played only few matches this season...

Yeah, he did last season. However, he didn't really do much.

Regardless JFJ is in Russia to watch him and a few other players/prospects and he has to decide whether to sign him or not (he is still Leafs property until June 1 I believe).

Anyone watching the Russian feed see that Czech fan painted up like an alien? I don't get it.

I forgot how much I enjoyed watching Cechmanek sprawl/two pad stack all over the place.

this game is not really entertainment. slovakia had some good minutes in the 2nd where they scored the 2nd goal, but in general i'm kind of bored.

hope it'll be better in the last period.

It's from good old french movie "Fantômas" with Louis De Funčs and Jean Marais. I liked it a lot when I was kid.

so if Germany beats Belarus, and if Canada beats Czechia, Czechia is eliminated :D

I got that. I just wasn't sure about the meaning behind the alien look, and the Russian announcers didn't mention it.

Like Kaiser said, the guy must be a fan of the 1960's Fantomas (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fant%C3%B4mas_%28film%29) movies. I think I've seen this fan before at other tournaments, too.
