Ron Wilson

I know Ron Wilson hasn't coached the Ducks in years, but how good of a coach was he during his stint with Anahiem? How was he in developing young players?

I gave him a three because while he was very good at getting everyone to play his system with gusto, he was very poor in developing youth.

He's the ideal coach for a veteran team that's a little on the thin side talent-wise IMO.

So, is "5" best?

I would agree that he is good at getting the most out of a talent-deprived team. The '97 Ducks were that way, as were the '98 Capitals. In terms of developing young talent, really the only young talent the Ducks had when he was a coach was Kariya. Tough to say.
