Continue to be amazed by Wings they trade many of their picks and still end up with 6 players in the tournament, it doesn't mean that these picks will make it but what it says the Wings still do a terrific job of finding gems down in the draft. Wish my team did as well.

I believe the Devils have 3 prospects :
USA - Zach Parise (U North Dakota), 2003 #17
Cech Rep. - Petr Vrana (Halifax, QMJHL), 2003 2nd rounder. He was injured a few weeks ago, but it seems he will play.
A 2002 pick, defenseman Marek Chvatal (Sarnia, OHL) was also invited to czech camp but i don't know if he was selected.

That's all this year.

The Wild do an excellent job of scouting, to get Burns and O'Sullivan at where they got them in last years draft was outstanding, and Harding is an excellent goaltending prospect.

I wouldn't call nabbing O'Sullivan late 'great scouting'. He was a risk that many teams weren't willing to take. Everyone knew he was a first round talent, but teams shied away from him. My Preds passed on him repeatedly even though they knew he had great talent.

The Burns pick though :handclap: So far, so good.

I like O'Sullivan personally, I thought he was a semi steal.

We could've had five if Couchraine wasn't cut :joker: but I really doubted that he could've made it.

On that note, Eckerblom our Swedish prospect was the last one taken in the 2001 draft I believe :D

Yup, he won defender of the Div 1, Group A tournament. He led all Dmen with 9 points in 5 games and tied for the tournament lead in assists.

Name the top two players from each NHL team that is represented, when that is established, is it possible to determine who has the best prospects with the best opportunity to play in the NHL.

Ex. Philly With Carter and Richards
Who has a better twosome.

Choosing two seems a little arbitrary don't you think? Why not 3? Why not 5?

I've heard very good things of Wisniewski, and he was pretty decent at the WJHC last year. But you're right... you hardly hear anything about him.

What's the story on Kantee?

Both of his parents are Finnish. He was born in the States while his dad was working there,so that's why he has a english name.I think he only lived in the U.S for a year or two before his family moved back to Finland. He has palyed his entire career so far in Finland.
