Todd Marchant

When will he be back? Any ideas? I remember reading something from DFC on another post saying he'd be out longer than origionally thought. I can't wait for him to come back.

I also hope he'll be back soon. And I hope that he'll make the game more interesting, unlike tonight's game.

Todd Marchant is so valuable to this team. Being back just one game and the fourth line looks 1000% better already. On the road at that. It was the fourth line that got that big push started late in the third (hell of a shift by Thornton) which almost led to the go-ahead goal. We get shifts like that all the time and the Ducks can wear down the Wings. They can't win every game on lucky bounces. ;)

Now that Marchant is back, is Penner better off with the 4th line or the PPG line?

Personally I like Penner with the Merchant line, that gives the Ducks an added "scoring line." Penner played his best last year in the playoffs with Merchant. I also like May with Perry and Getslaf. May's ability to workdown low and draw bodies and win battles is more condusive to Perry's and Getslaf's abilities imo.

Glad to hear he will be back.
