honestly that was a smart cheapshot by lecav. 2 minutes for hom, possibly 40 minutes for the devils best shot blocker.

What constitutes a double minor (or major) for cross checking? Honestly, if that's not at least a double minor worthy cross check, I don't know what is (besides one to the face, which should be a major penalty no matter what). That was a vicious cross check to a defenseless player.

This is what everyone has been saying since the diving call came out - it's one or the other, not both. They need to fix this rule in the off-season along with the accidental delay of game call when guys swat at spinning/tumbling pucks and put them out of play. We all know how to recognize a purposeful delay of game vs. an accidental one... too many games have been decided on this call.

If I were the devils or a devils fan, I would want to just put a bunch of soft shots on Holmqvist. He seems to make all the incredible saves and let in all the softees. I get nervous even when you all dump it in and it goes on goal!
