Okay, I was in France from April 5th to 14th and then I was in the hospital getting my appendix removed from the 14th to today. So I missed the last two regular season games and then the first two playoffs games (I watched Game 3 at the hospital). Could somebody just summarize these past two weeks for me? There are about 1000 threads that I don't have time to read through. Any big things I should know about? How have Gionta and Matvichuk been playing? etc.

Thanks a lot guys.

First playoff game, we murderize hommer, 5-3.

Second playoff game, they murderize Brodeur, 3-2

Third playoff game, they make us look slow and Hommer look like Brodeur. 3-2

Our offense is outshooting the bolts almost 3-2, but we aren't getting any of them in. The only goals in the last game were really flukey goals.

Gionta clicked with Elias and Gomez on the first game but then they all went back to the lack luster play at the end of the regular season.

Parise is really hot, too bad he's not getting alot of chances from his linemates.

Mat played average, kind of slow and sluggish.

For the last two regular season games, I honestly can't remember who the Devils played or what the result was for the second to last game. I'll look it up later, but I think the Devils won? Other than that, no clue.

The last game, against the Isles, was awesome. The Devils looked completely disinterested for about the first 55 minutes (understandably). Clemmensen played a really good game, and so did Matvichuk. Then in the last 5 minutes Madden scored to get within one and I think it was Madden that scored again with about 0.8 seconds left to send it to OT. Absolutely insane, since the playoff berth for the Isles & Leafs was on the line. Not too much in OT, so it went to a SO. Clemmensen and Dubliewicz both let in the first shots, then Dubie made a save and Clemmer got scored on so it was 2-1 Isles. Then Clemmer made a save, and it ended with Dubie pokechecking Brylin to give the Isles the win and the playoff berth.

I'll get to the playoff games later.

The Devils have dominated long stretches of the series so far; Tampa has gone like 10 minutes without a shot on multiple occasions. In terms of puck possession, the Devils have been the better team by a good margin.

But then they have a horrendous breakdown and Tampa takes advantage of it. Tampa has been amazing at scoring every time the Devils make a mistake. Madden and Pandolfo have been completely owned by Lecavilier and St. Louis. Brodeur has looked average and he needs to be better than that. Parise has been the Devils best player by far.

I believe Marty showed Philly which goalie now has the most wins in a season.:teach:

Flyers and Senators. We beat Senators in a shootout.
