TeMoZ 03-31-2007, 06:16 PM Its the Scottrade Center now, Guerin isn't on their roster anymore, and Curtis Sanford is getting the start i think because Legace is injured.
theShiba 03-31-2007, 06:45 PM I think that you should now find the information up to your standards...
G'aal 03-31-2007, 07:56 PM Almost. You've got Columbus listed in a couple of places, instead of St. Louis.
Otherwise, looks good.
McDonald19 03-31-2007, 08:03 PM Brent Severyn in for Brian Hayward tonight.

braincramp 03-31-2007, 08:15 PM Bacachiuai in tonite for st louis however you spell it
Bacashihua.
WestCoast 03-31-2007, 08:17 PM What the hell is up with your guys color guy? Sounds like a 60 year old Kermit the Frog.
Bacashihua.
Now how do you say that?
braincramp 03-31-2007, 08:20 PM Now how do you say that?
bah-kah-shee-wah
Best I can do without a phonetic font.
McDonald19 03-31-2007, 08:26 PM What the hell is up with your guys color guy? Sounds like a 60 year old Kermit the Frog.
Former NHL enforcer Brent Severyn. Usually he is the radio color guy. I can't explain his voice.

Thanks :)
theShiba 03-31-2007, 08:29 PM Ok... I think I finally got it right. That's what I get for being in a hurry. YAY!
McDonald19 03-31-2007, 08:33 PM Stache took a good one on the beak.
blood on the ice.
McDonald19 03-31-2007, 08:34 PM 1-1
:shakehead
Penner hurt? GOD DAMMIT ST LOUIS
Jay_McClement 03-31-2007, 09:01 PM Jesus christ, this color analyst guy is atrocious. I'm a Blues fan living outside St. Louis and am forced to watch FSN Anaheim's feed. I read above he is the radio guy? Good lord, how can he be a regular on air? The "Kermit the Frog" comparison nailed it perfectly.
Theridion 03-31-2007, 09:07 PM He's not that bad once you get used to him. However, I went to a game last week and I had forgot how much better hockey was without commentators in general. There needs to be a mute button that doesn't mute the sounds of the game.
Its Brent Severyn dude, he used to be a goon what do you expect
Joe Canada 03-31-2007, 10:02 PM God that pisses me off... they start talking about how well the goalie has played (Giguere in this case) and then the puck's in the net.
Joe Canada 03-31-2007, 10:20 PM Giguere with two massive saves in a 30-second span (while the Ducks were on the PP).
190Octane 03-31-2007, 10:27 PM Looks like someone scored quick according to ESPN real time.
Andy Mac 25 seconds into OT
But yea sounds like playoff Jiggy is back
Ducksforcup 03-31-2007, 10:42 PM Good, hard fought win. Both goalies were excellent. Ducks battled hard though and got the win. :) :yo:
Hockey Duckie 03-31-2007, 10:42 PM Scotty kept the puck in the offensive zone near the blue line by the boards. He saw Andy cross him towards the blue line and curl back to the net. So Scotty pushes forward instead of throwing the puck back to reset. Two defenders are waiting for Scotty as he darts for the net. Andy is flying behind the defender. Then Scotty lifts a saucer like pass a few inches between the two defenders to Andy. Andy has now been caught by a third defender(a foward backchecking), but it's too late. The puck lands on the ice and simultaneously Andy throws stick out backhanded. Bacashihua slides from left to right in anticipation except the puck is jarred going from right to left. You can see the back of the net give and the red lights go on. Ducks win and Andy with his second goal.
Hockey Duckie 03-31-2007, 10:44 PM I was at a baby shower and luckily caught some of the game on the radio and heard about the odd carom for a Blues goal. Then I was able to watch the last 3 minutes and overtime... well 25 seconds of overtime. Ducks are now tied with Detroit with 106 points! YaY for points!

Lyons71 03-31-2007, 11:53 PM Even with McDonald's 2 goals Giggy's player of the game. He stopped not only a sh breakaway, but right after that, a sh 2 on 0! He stayed very calm and kept the ducks in this game when they obviously took some parts off. Two points is good, but they relied on the pp and pk too much.
Penner got hurt and either was benched or sitting out a lot of the game after that.
St Louis put a good effort up and will be interesting next season.
Overtime wins are 100000000000X better than overtime losses, by the way.
Giguere was amazing, though I think he could have saved the second goal. Nieds pass to Andy Mc was perfect. Good effort by the team.

Penner didn't play a whole lot, but the shift chart says he was out with Selanne and McDonald with a couple minutes to play in the 3rd.
He only took 4 3rd period shifts.
Spankatola Jamnuts 04-01-2007, 12:51 AM Spotted this on tsn's writeup:
Notes: The Kings' 105-point season in 1974-75 in an 80-game season was the previous best for a West Coast team. ..
Ha ha. Cheesy record, but at least we broke it.
Randall Graves* 04-01-2007, 05:49 AM Giguere saved Carlyle from a massive blunder, an umbrella PP when you're tied and desperately need points? Don't know about that.
theShiba 04-01-2007, 05:59 AM Severyn rocks, guys... My favorite comment: "That play had more holding than a high school dance."
Theridion 04-01-2007, 04:23 PM "More holdings than a highschool dance"
Did he repeat that statement like 3-4 times during the game?
Duckstudd269 04-01-2007, 09:02 PM any update on the penner injury?
any update on the penner injury?
Anyone?
theShiba 04-03-2007, 02:53 AM He was out there on the ice post-injury. Did he not finish out the game on the bench? I don't remember the announcers saying anything about it. Maybe they were just resting him as a precautonary measure...
Spankatola Jamnuts 04-03-2007, 03:22 AM Nothing in any of the papers. Maybe it's nothing.
