Kyle Greentree, who sveigler mentioned many times as a possible free agent signing out of college, was signed by the Flyers.

Can anyone confirm this, and do you think Lou messed up by not signing Greentree?

BTW, I believe Greentree was playing with Tyler Eckford in college, so you know that Devils scouts saw Greentree play.

Sveigler, if you are out there, I would like to hear what you have to say about this.

Duncan is nasty..outscoring first rounders like Toews and Oshie for UND. He's only a sophomore though.

I think if Toews and Oshie leave, Duncan might as well. He's got great hands, real quick around the net.

Ryan Duncan would be a nice signing. Why wasn't he drafted??? He is pretty small. How many "Brian Giontas" can you have on one team? I think Lou will pass because of his lack of size. If he fills out, he could make the NHL with his skill level. Lou likes North Dakota players. If Duncan is signed, it would be to stock Lowell with the hope that some day Ryan could make the Devils in some specialized role, such as a penalty killer and/or power-play scorer.

BTW, tell PEli that I saw someone signed Alex Levitt. I know he was high on Levitt for a while.

Any free agent college goalies that we could sign and develop? Anymore "Andy Greenes" out there?

He's 5'6 and you know what teams think about small players. I don't think Lou would ever pass up any potential "Gionta's".

Greentree is better than Voros. Philly got someone there, especially if his skating has improved any at UAF. Glad to see him get a contract, sucks that it's the Flyers.
