First of all play Giguere every night. Even after he gets shelled, because the longer he sits ...the longer he thinks about the losses he's been in and the longer it takes for him to get in the groove. Gerber has been lucky lately.

#2. Switch things up Babcock. I would split Prospal and Sykora up for one. Fedorov at center with Prospal on LW and Lupul on RW. Rucchin to center PSykora on RW and Chistov on LW. Ozolinsh be paired with Carney and they play tons. (Ozolinsh when healthy)

If they do acquire Comrie just simply move Rucchin to 3rd line center. Enough is enough and it is time for Giggy to get some shutouts and get things going. Bench Todd (****son) Simpson also.

Goaltending isn't the problem (with Gerber in net). Problem is the team in front of him. Can't score enough, can't defend worth a damn. The experiment is a failure.

About Todd Simpson , the guy makes dumb errors and losing most of his corner battles. Sure he fights lots and is aggressive but he usually doesn't get the puck out of his end and mentally is not paying attention to detail. Bad instincts, I like his effort but he's got to smarten up.
